Description
The Connected Commerce line of business within Chase connects our engaged base of 71 million digitally active customers with services like travel, dining and shopping. Connected Commerce delivers a compelling end-to-end experience for Chase customers through the activities they do every day, like making a dinner reservation or booking a trip. Innovative payment and lending options, including digital wallets and point-of-sale lending capabilities, take friction out of the experience and provide flexibility in how customers pay and borrow.Chase Travel Group is a standalone business within Connected Commerce and comprises Chase Travel (the leisure travel redemption portal for Chase cardmembers), Corporate Solutions, and Premium Leisure travel delivered via two brands: FROSCH and VWT. Dedicated luxury travel advisors at both FROSCH and VWT work with clients to design and deliver curated, once-in-a-lifetime trips.
As an Executive Director within Chase Travel Group's product organization, you will drive critical initiatives to enhance our Premium Leisure advisor ecosystem, including the implementation of a best in class CRM platform. You will work across senior stakeholders - both within Chase Travel Group (including FROSCH and VWT) as well as Card and Connected Commerce - to scope and prioritize timing and sequencing of these critical initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own integrated platform strategy for the Business Services travel product, including Payments, Orders, Settlements, Risk and Fraud
- Work closely across the quad (Technology, D&A, and Design) to understand business requirements, prioritize deliverables, and drive business outcomes.
- Manage programs with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution process to ensure success.
- Lead through influence and inspiration across multiple organizations to ensure understanding of the objective and desired outcomes.
- Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated with the product development initiatives.
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Drive critical initiatives across Business Services forward, including devising a holistic strategy to unify platforms and capabilities across Chase Travel Group.
- Work across senior stakeholders - both within Chase Travel and across Card and Commerce - to scope and prioritize timing and sequencing of these critical initiatives.
- Act as a culture carrier across all program stakeholders.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 5+ years' experience in product management including agile product delivery
- 7+ years of experience in servicing, operations, or mid/back office functions
- Excellent data-driven and structured problem-solving skills.
- Expert ability to communicate strategy and execution through verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to focus and pay attention to details at all times.
- Ability to work in a team as well as an individual with little or no supervision.
- Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high-quality work.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Experience in servicing, operations, and mid/back office
- CRM Implementation (e.g. SalesForce)
- Understanding of the travel industry (GDS and NDC)
