Our client, Restoration Forest Products, LLC (“RFOR”), is privately owned and is Arizona’s leading sustainable forestry and wood products manufacturing company. RFOR’s mission is to implement sustainable forestry practices in Arizona’s four national forests; the Apache-Sitgreaves, Coconino, Kaibab, and Tonto, to lead to a healthier ecosystem which reduces the risks of catastrophic wildfires. Through strategic and sustainable forest management, RFOR protects the health of the beautiful forestland, leaving zero waste behind. RFOR is able to implement sustainable forestry practices by helping thin the forest floor and creating value from its materials including brush, branches, and small trees. In 2021, the company acquired a 425,000-square-foot building in Bellemont, Arizona (just outside of Flagstaff) and constructed a state- of-the-art, integrated sawmill and engineered wood products (EWP) operation based on a phased development plan.
