Executive Director, Business Relationship Management
VP Technology/Infrastructure
Location: New Orleans, LA
Summary
The Executive Director for Business Relationship Management (BRM) is a leadership role responsible for managing and maintaining strong partnerships between the Information Technology department and University units. This position oversees the Business Relationship Management Office.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong background in strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, and technology alignment. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior leadership. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Passion for strong service commitment and delivery.
Demonstrated leadership, diplomacy and relationship building skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
Proven problem-solving, mediation, and negotiation skills.
Strong overall technology foundation and understanding of the evolving landscape.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines.
Expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), SCCM, JAMF, Azure AD, Windows Autopilot, and Modern Workplace solutions.
Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. 8 years of experience in leadership, business relationship management, or a related role.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
Experience in Higher Education.
Strong understanding of business process improvement and change management.
Compensation Information
This position is classified as "exempt, salaried" and is assigned to pay grade 28PREM.
