Description
Drive the end‑to‑end experience vision for Self‑Directed Investing by shaping cohesive journeys across products, platforms, and teams by influencing decisions at the highest levels of the organization.As an Experience Design Vice President in Self‑Directed Investing, you will define and evolve the holistic experience across a broad portfolio of self‑directed investment products. You will operate as a senior individual contributor and people leader, combining deep design craft with strong executive storytelling, systems thinking, and strategic influence.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the end-to-end experience vision for Self‑Directed Investing across products, platforms, and customer touchpoints.
- Define future-state journeys, experience principles, and north-star narratives that guide product strategy and investment decisions.
- Identify ecosystem gaps and opportunities, translating complexity into clear, experience-led priorities and recommendations.
- Partner with senior Product, Technology, Business, Risk, and Design leaders to align on direction, tradeoffs, and outcomes.
- Influence strategy through compelling storytelling, visual narratives, and experience artifacts that clarify customer impact.
- Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring experience considerations are embedded early and consistently.
- Act as a senior individual contributor and people leader, elevating design quality, coherence, and talent development.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Experience, Product, or Service Design with ownership of large-scale, end-to-end experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives through experience strategy, storytelling, and structured decision framing.
- Strong systems-thinking capability with experience designing across multiple products and platforms.
- Proven effectiveness operating as both a senior individual contributor and people manager.
- Deep expertise in journey mapping, experience strategy, and north-star vision development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for executives, partners, and design teams.
- Experience leading through ambiguity and driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in self-directed investing, trading platforms, or financial services.
- Background working in complex or highly regulated environments.
- Comfort leading executive-level workshops, working sessions, and decision forums.
- Track record of scaling experience practices across multiple teams or domains.
