Job DescriptionStep into a high-impact role where you'll partner directly with senior executives, execute and program manage strategic initiatives, and promote operational excellence across the organization!
As the Vice President of Business Management for the Risk Modeling team within the Consumer & Community Bank (CCB), you will be responsible for leading and delivering critical initiatives for the CCB Risk Modeling Leadership team. You will work with various stakeholders across CCB Risk and partner teams to provide insights into operational performance and strategic initiatives. Outstanding problem-solving, understanding of technology and statistical modeling concepts, and relationship-building skills will be key in supporting and collaborating with various teams. This role reports to the Chief of Staff to the Head of CCB Risk Modeling.
Job responsibilities
- Compile business reviews, monthly updates, and ad-hoc requests for senior members of the Fraud Risk Modeling and Data Science & Model Insights team in the Consumer and Community Bank Risk organization
- Support the teams in planning agendas for weekly leadership team meetings, summaries to leadership, and offsite engagements
- Collect and maintain internal resources and documentation on collaboration sites such as Teams, Shared Drives, and other collaboration spaces
- Manage follow up items effectively to ensure proper sequencing and completion
- Partner closely with HR, Strategy and Communications around strategic initiatives
- Collaborate across business managers to execute strategic initiatives and monitor outcomes
- Communicate, interact with, and influence colleagues at all levels in the business including senior leaders
- Handle confidential information in a professional manner
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of relevant experience in business management, program management, analytics, management consulting, strategy, COO or similar functions.
- Understanding of or experience with software engineering, statistical modeling, or supporting roles for those functions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Management, or other related field.
- Expertise with Excel and PowerPoint for executive-level presentations and messaging.
- Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to execute strategic agenda and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to partner/collaborate with business and functional stakeholders across the organization to drive execution and influence prioritization and delivery of objectives.
- Ability to think/act strategically and comfortable working independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience establishing and meeting goals, tracking and driving enhancement opportunities, and presenting progress.
- Ability to quickly and effectively respond to rapidly changing business needs and urgent requests.
- Strong organizational, time management and follow-up skills; flexibility, ability to prioritize requests and multi-task.
