Description

You will have the opportunity to lead transformative initiatives, collaborate across functions, and advance your career in a dynamic environment.As a Vice President, US Payroll Optimization, within out team, you will lead efforts to streamline and uplift US payroll processes, focusing on process improvement, control enhancement, and system optimization. You will partner with payroll operations and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, compliant, and scalable payroll solutions that support the firm's strategic goals.
Job responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to optimize US payroll processes, driving efficiency and scalability.
- Oversee automation projects using Oracle HCM Payroll, Alteryx, and Pega.
- Establish and maintain robust controls to ensure payroll compliance and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with payroll operations, HR, Finance, and IT to support transformation and integration efforts.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and data integrity.
- Serve as a key resource for payroll system configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Deliver insightful payroll process reports and analytics to senior leadership.
- Mentor and develop payroll optimization team members.
- Ensure all optimization initiatives are executed with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Support the execution of payroll cycles and transformation initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive alignment and results.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- Demonstrate at least 7 years of progressive payroll experience, including 3 years in a leadership role focused on process improvement or transformation.
- Show expertise in Oracle HCM Payroll or similar payroll systems.
- Exhibit a strong control mindset and experience maintaining payroll compliance frameworks.
- Display exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Lead payroll optimization or transformation initiatives in a large, complex organization.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Drive automation and process improvement using Alteryx and Pega.
- Mentor and develop team members to foster a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Hold an advanced degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- Demonstrate experience with executive compensation and payroll input processes.
- Lead year-end and year-begin payroll optimization projects.
- Possess Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification.
