Position Overview
The Vice President of Enterprise Technology is a strategic executive responsible for leading the organization's technology, information management, cybersecurity, analytics, and AI governance strategies. This leader ensures secure, scalable, and innovative technology solutions that support operational excellence, enhance resident experiences, and drive sustainable growth. The role also contributes to industry leadership and organizational strategy, helping shape the future vision of Presbyterian Living.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishes and updates annual and five-year strategic and tactical plans for Enterprise Technology functions for Presbyterian Living.
- Provides oversight and governance and secures resources to implement the long-range technology plan.
- Responsible for the continuous management of information security policies, procedures, and technical systems in order to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all organizational information systems.
- Establishes short-term and long-term resident technology frameworks and works with resident representatives / groups to ensure resident input is incorporated into the planning / execution processes.
- As it relates to IT and HIPAA, oversees all aspects of risk management, security policies, and IT infrastructure.
- Assesses system needs to meet needs in terms of privacy, security, contingency and backups, general protection of data and computer resources, and continuous access and availability of services.
- Participates in leadership meetings to report on strategic and tactical progress in technology initiatives in support of objectives and mission of Presbyterian Living.
- Manages annual operating and capital budgets to ensure that the Enterprise Technology department has the resources needed to execute on strategic direction.
- Collaborates with the operations team to continue to support and enhance delivery of technology solutions to meet the needs of staff in various administrative and resident facing areas as well as residents and general community operations.
- Stays current on available technologies that can benefit the organization as it relates to resident safety, engagement and wellbeing as well as operational efficiency and cost control. Is aware of general technology and industry trends and develops plans to assess relevant technology implementation of those that are appropriate for Presbyterian Living to advance the organizational goals.
- Manages technology operations, enterprise systems support and budget, including the hiring/dismissal of employees and services and overseeing daily work routine services.
- Implements an evaluation process to continually assess current technology utilization by staff and residents and explore ways to increase system utilization by all stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Information Technology required. Master’s in Business Administration is a plus.
AI certification / education - At least ten years of experience in progressive information technology leadership roles within multi-site healthcare systems with a preference for those which include Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs).
- Experience in implementing/managing enterprise systems
- Experience with managed service providers and complex technology setups
- Experience leading/ being the head of technology operations at a healthcare/senior living organization
- Knowledge of healthcare, not-for-profit organizations.
- Good technical skills and knowledge, including demonstrated knowledge and experience with information technology and communications systems and applications.
